IAM America Giveaway Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility
The Grand Prize Trip Giveaway (the "Grand Prize") is open to legal residents of the United States, aged 18 years or over, except employees of [Exhibitors at the International AutoModified (the “Company”), August 24th Show], their families, agents, or anyone professionally connected with the Grand Prize. If you are a parent or legal guardian of a person less than eighteen (18) years of age and believe a person that is less than eighteen (18) years of age has improperly participated in the Grand Prize, please immediately contact the Company at info@iam-america.com.
By completing the checkout, you represent that you are eighteen (18) years of age or older.
Additional Grand Prize eligibility rules:
- Winner must have a valid US Passport, cannot be convicted of any felony or criminal
records which affects their ability to travel, and must be in good health. - Winner is personally responsible for their safety and health and must produce proof of health insurance (with international coverage) and will be required to sign a liability waiver prior to travel.
- The Hourly Giveaway (the “Hourly Giveaway”) is open to legal residents of the United States, except employees of [Exhibitors at the International AutoModified, August 24th Show], their families, agents, or anyone professionally connected with the Hourly Giveaway.
2. Entry Period
Grand Prize Entry Period:
- The Grand Prize entry period begins at 12:00 PM Pacific Time on August 24th, 2024, and ends at 6:00 PM Pacific Time on the same day (the “Grand Prize Entry Period”).
- Upon entry, for every admitted ticket holder, the entry stub will be used as an entry for
the Grand Prize drawing, which will be held at 6:00 PM Pacific Time at the main venue
stage.
Hourly Giveaway Entry Period:
- The Hourly Prize entry period begins at 12:00 PM Pacific Time on August 24th, 2024,
and ends at 5:00 PM Pacific Time on the same day (the “Hourly Entry Period”) - Upon entry, for every admitted ticket holder, the entry stub will be used as an entry for the Hourly Giveaway drawing.
3. How to Enter
- Purchase a general admission ticket through the website, [www.iam-america.com].
- To enter both the Grand Prize and/or the Hourly Giveaway, participants must personally
attend the IAM International AutoModified show on August 24th. - Limit one entry per ticket, per giveaway: one (1) for the Grand Prize, and one (1) for the Hourly Giveaway.
- At the time of venue entry, staff will provide entrants with their original ticket stub (for unique tracking). Staff will place one (1) giveaway entry into the Hourly Giveaway selection pool.
4. Drawings
The Hourly Giveaway:
- Drawings will occur at the 15-minute mark of every hour for five hours, starting at 1:15 PM Pacific Time and ending at 5:15 PM Pacific Time on August 24, 2024, and will be conducted at the main stage of the International AutoModified Show.
- Each hourly drawing will select one winner from all eligible entries received throughout the Hourly Entry Period.
- A minimum of one winner will be drawn and selected per hour.
The Grand Prize:
- The final grand prize drawing will occur at 6:15 PM Pacific Time on August 24, 2024. Only one winner will be selected from all eligible entries received throughout the Grand Prize Entry Period.
5. Winner Selection
The Hourly Giveaway:
- Winner(s) will be selected randomly from all eligible entries received during the Hourly Entry Period. A single drawing will occur at the 15-minute mark of every hour, beginning at 1:15 PM to 5:15 PM Pacific Time, with the final hourly drawing at 5:15 PM Pacific Time.
- An entrant is eligible to win only one Hourly Giveaway for the entirety of the day.
- The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
- The winning number will be notified via loudspeaker throughout the venue and main stage, and must match the numbers with your original, unmodified ticket stub, which must be in your possession at the time of claiming the prize.
- Prize must be claimed within five (5) minutes (either at the main stage or through event staff, with the main staff at the stage acknowledging the claim) otherwise a new winner will be selected and the above process repeated until each Hourly Giveaway prize has been claimed.
The Grand Prize:
- A single winner will be selected randomly from all eligible entries received during the Entry Period from 12:00 PM through 6:00 PM Pacific Time, at the venue main stage. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
- The winning number will be notified via loudspeaker throughout the venue and main stage, and must match the numbers with your original, unmodified ticket stub, which must be in your possession at the time of claiming the prize.
- Prize must be claimed within five (5) minutes (either at the main stage or through event staff, with the main staff at the stage acknowledging the claim) otherwise a new winner will be selected and the above process repeated until the Grand Prize has been claimed.
6. Prizes
The Hourly Giveaway:
Prizes will be provided at random by exhibitors and manufacturers who are sponsoring the event. Details of prizes may be shared prior to the IAM America show on August 24, 2024, and are subject to change and/or be substituted without notice. The Grand Prize: The winner of the final grand prize drawing will receive an all-expense-paid trip to one of our International AutoModified Event overseas.
7. Prize Conditions
For both the Hourly Giveaway and the Grand Prize:
- Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative is available.
- If a winner cannot be contacted within 5 minutes of the only attempt to notify them, the prize will be forfeited, and an alternate winner will be selected. This process will be repeated until a winner is selected.
- No cash value for any prize (hourly or grand).
8. Publicity
- By entering the Hourly Giveaway and Grand Prize, participants agree to participate in any publicity or promotional activities regarding the Giveaway if requested by the Company.
- Blanket approval for usage of their likeness in any media format.
9. General Conditions
- The Company reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Giveaway if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond the Company’s reasonable control impairs the integrity of the Giveaway.
- By participating in the Giveaway, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and the Company’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Giveaway.
10. Privacy Policy
- Information collected from participants is subject to the Company’s Privacy Policy. By entering the Giveaway, participants consent to the collection and use of their personal data as described in the Privacy Policy, which includes the use of contact information for the purpose of administering the Giveaway and for promotional purposes.
11. Governing Law
- These IAM America Giveaway Terms and Conditions, including all matters arising out of or relating to the Giveaway, are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regards to its conflict of law principles.
- By participating in the IAM America Giveaway, entrants agree that any disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with the Giveaways, or any prizes awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in California.
12. Limited Liability Release
- Release of Liability: By participating in the Giveaway, entrants agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless IAM America, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and all of their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability, claims, or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to persons or property which may be sustained in connection with the Giveaway, including, but not limited to, (i) participating in any aspect of the Giveaway, (ii) the receipt, ownership, use, or misuse of any prize awarded, (iii) any typographical or other error in these Terms and Conditions or the announcement or offering of any prize, and (iv) any technical malfunction, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction, or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries.
- Assumption of Risk: Participants understand and agree that their participation in the Giveaway is at their own risk and responsibility. This includes, but is not limited to, any physical or mental harm, injury, loss, or damage arising from participating in the event or traveling to/from the event location.
- Indemnity: By participating in the Giveaway, participants agree to indemnify and hold the Released Parties harmless from any and all claims, demands, and causes of action of any kind or nature, including legal expenses and reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or relating to their participation in the Giveaway or receipt or use of any prize.
Conclusion
By participating in the IAM America Giveaway, participants acknowledge that they have read and understood these Terms and Conditions, including the Governing Law Policy and the Limited Liability Release, and agree to abide by them. Failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions may result in disqualification from the Giveaway. By participating in the Giveaway, participants agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
